Dr. Barkley is a graduate of the University of Florida and the LECOM School of Dental Medicine, where he completed a comprehensive and intensive clinical education that exposed him to a wide spectrum of complex cases—surgical and non-surgical—across multiple specialties.

What sets Dr. Barkley apart is not only his skill, but his philosophy. He is committed to clarity, honesty, and individualized care. Patients can expect treatment plans that are easy to understand, transparent in purpose, and tailored specifically to their needs—never rushed, never over-treating, never under-treating. His approach is rooted in sincerity: listening carefully, answering every question, and making sure each patient feels informed, respected, and confident in their care.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Barkley is quickly becoming part of the fabric of Marathon. He is now a full-time resident of Marathon, excited to build his life and career here in the Keys. When he’s not caring for patients, you'll most likely find him on the water—fishing, boating, and enjoying the island lifestyle. He even bought a boat shortly after settling in, ready to explore every corner of his new home. He looks forward to getting to know local families, contributing to the community, and building long-term relationships with the people who make Marathon so special.
